ANNOUNCEMENTS / EVENTS

STUDIO PHOTOS will be taken during class May 17 to May 21. Orders will be accepted thru to October, 2010. Please ensure all students come in full costume and makeup for group and/or individual photos.

REGISTRATION for 2010/2011 will take place from May 1 to June 12, 2010 during regular office hours, again on June 15, 16 & 17th from 5 to 8 pm. The studio will re-open fro registrations August 17-19, 24-26 from 5 to 8pm, and August 21 from 10 to 12 Noon.

Watch for our Pre-School schedule offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (subject to minimum registration). Classes for the upcoming season include Preschool classes for ages 3-6, Professional Program, Festival Program, beginner classes for all levels, Irish Program, Hip Hop, Highland, Salsakidz, as well as Musical Theatre (with vocals and drama). Adult classes in Hip Hop, Jazz, Salsa, and Tap at all levels. Yoga for dancers (as taught at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet) and Yoga for Adults will also be available in the 2010/2011 season.

PRESCHOOL SUMMER DANCE CAMP "Belle of the Ball" - ages 3 to 6, August 16th to 20th, 2010. An Event with Beauty, the Beast, and her friends in the enchanged castle. Come join Belle and her friends for a fun-filled week of dance and crafts. On Friday, August 20th, the last half hour of class time will be a performance and a special guest! Registration is on a first come, first served basis. A $50 deposit is required by June 11, remaining balance by July 15th. Program cost is $125 for 3 and 4 year olds; $165 for 5 and 6 year olds. *NOTE TO PARENTS: Please make sure you have written down times correctly. All students must meet their teacher in the lobby of the theatre and be dressed in costume with hair & makeup DONE one hour prior to performance time. DO NOT BE LATE! This causes a great deal of stress to everyone if you are. Plan your departure from home 2 hours in advance. Make-up sheets are available at the studio & here. Make up can be purchased at Inglewood London Drugs. Tights are available at Karrie's Kostumes in St. Albert. ALWAYS make sure you have an extra pair of tights in your child's bag. Please make sure to check with your child's teacher if you are unsure about anything. Much better to check in advance than to arrive at the competition unprepared!  Please double-check that your child has all the pieces of their costumes including shoes, tights, hairpieces, jewellery prior to leaving home.
